🥳 20.Oct.2024: What an impactful day! The 'Gender and Environment Data Conference: Advancing Gender Equality Through Strategic Data Insights' brought together experts and leaders to share best practices on making gender-disaggregated data more accessible, understandable, and applicable in environmental decision-making. Together, we explored gender-responsive ways to implement the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KM-#GBF). The event also celebrated firsthand knowledge and stories from inspiring women leading community-based restoration initiatives in Argentina, Kenya, Myanmar, and the Solomon Islands. Overall, it was a tremendous day for gender equality in environmental conservation! 🌍✨

🎉 [2/3] Success in action! The 'Gender and Envi

🎉 [2/3] Success in action! The 'Gender and Environment Data Conference: Advancing Gender Equality Through Strategic Data Insights' on 20 October in Cali, Colombia, was a powerful day of insights!

The Conference brought together experts and advocates to advance gender equality and spotlight the vital role of gender data in environmental decision-making.

The Conference was divided into three sessions. The first session focused on 'The Power of Data: Understanding the state of gender and environment data'. The second session delved into the 'Tools and Techniques: Integrating Gender into Environmental Data Systems', and the third highlighted the 'Policy and Advocacy for Driving Transformative Change for the KM-#GBF'.

A huge thank you to the esteemed speakers and everyone who made this event a success! We’re taking meaningful steps towards an inclusive, data-driven future for a gender-equal planet. 🌍✨
