WHAT
1.5 hours of panel discussion on How to gender-responsively mobilise resources for biodiversity conservation? The event will examine the intersections between gender, human rights and resource mobilisation. It will also facilitate the identification of strategies and solutions to ensure that resource mobilisation efforts are inclusive, equitable and responsive to the diverse needs and aspirations of all. Through insightful discussions, the event will explore the challenges and opportunities for women and girls to have their rights guaranteed and fulfilled in the context of resource mobilisation. By fostering collaboration and sharing experiences, the event aims to contribute to improving gender justice in biodiversity financing and governance.
The panel discussion will be followed by a Q&A session. Live translation (English/Spanish/French) will be available. Each of the speakers will have 10 minutes to discuss a set of guiding questions.

- To generate concrete recommendations and insights that can inform policy development and action towards more equitable and inclusive biodiversity financing.
