{"id":31334,"date":"2024-02-19T14:24:32","date_gmt":"2024-02-19T13:24:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/women4biodiversity.org\/online-workshop-on-km-gbf-nbsaps-with-gybn-india\/"},"modified":"2025-02-14T08:06:42","modified_gmt":"2025-02-14T07:06:42","slug":"online-workshop-on-km-gbf-nbsaps-with-gybn-india","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/women4biodiversity.org\/es\/online-workshop-on-km-gbf-nbsaps-with-gybn-india\/","title":{"rendered":"Online Workshop on KM-GBF &#038; NBSAPs with GYBN India"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p>Indian Youth Biodiversity Network (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/gybn_india\/\">GYBN India<\/a>) &amp; Women4Biodiversity organised a two-day online workshop on 17 and 18 February 2024 on the Kunming Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbd.int\/gbf\">KM-GBF<\/a>), and key decisions taken at the Fifteenth United Nations Biodiversity Conference of the Parties (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbd.int\/conferences\/2021-2022\">COP15<\/a>) particularly focusing on the National Biodiversity Strategic and Action Plans (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbd.int\/nbsap\">NBSAPs<\/a>). COP15 also ended with a landmark agreement to guide global action on nature through to 2030. The workshop was oriented towards the youth to encourage their involvement in national processes.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>On the first day, the online workshop focused on brief discussions on the various <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbd.int\/gbf\/targets\">goals and Targets of KM-GBF<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbd.int\/doc\/c\/f64f\/e1b9\/e8da56802bc2c458a56fcefa\/cop-15-l-24-en.pdf\">Gender Plan of Action<\/a>.
