At the Global Changemaker Academy for Parliamentarians (#GCAP2025), our Founder & Director, Mrinalini Rai, contributed her expertise by leading a session on the critical intersections of gender and land. She underscored the importance of integrating gender-responsive approaches in land governance and restoration policies, ensuring equitable and sustainable processes and outcomes for all.
The Global Changemaker Academy (GCAP2025) was a selective, five-day leadership academy that brought together around 30 national parliamentarians for immersive learning on sustainable land restoration. This yearly gathering blends masterclasses, advocacy labs, legislative workshops, and field visits.
This is a collaboration between the G20 Global Land Initiative and United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC), which is hosted through the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD).
