Species in all taxonomic groups and from all types of ecosystems have the potential to become invasive. While a small percentage of alien species become invasive, their negative impacts can be severe. These often go beyond environmental changes and affect economic activities, food security, health or social and cultural values. This target calls for these impacts to be eliminated, minimized, reduced or mitigated.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83c\udf3f \ud835\udc08\ud835\udc1d\ud835\udc1e\ud835\udc27\ud835\udc2d\ud835\udc22\ud835\udc1f\ud835\udc32\ud835\udc22\ud835\udc27\ud835\udc20 \ud835\udc1a\ud835\udc27\ud835\udc1d \ud835\udc26\ud835\udc1a\ud835\udc27\ud835\udc1a\ud835\udc20\ud835\udc22\ud835\udc27\ud835\udc20 \ud835\udc29\ud835\udc1a\ud835\udc2d\ud835\udc21\ud835\udc30\ud835\udc1a\ud835\udc32\ud835\udc2c: Pathways, are how alien species are introduced to new environments. Depending on the ecosystem, there are likely to be several different pathways for the introduction of alien species. Conducting a risk analysis prior to the introduction of an alien species as well as enhancing border controls and quarantine, early warning mechanisms, rapid response measures and management plans are the types of actions that could be taken to help prevent the establishment of alien species.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83c\udf3f \ud835\udc04\ud835\udc2b\ud835\udc1a\ud835\udc1d\ud835\udc22\ud835\udc1c\ud835\udc1a\ud835\udc2d\ud835\udc22\ud835\udc27\ud835\udc20 \ud835\udc28\ud835\udc2b \ud835\udc1c\ud835\udc28\ud835\udc27\ud835\udc2d\ud835\udc2b\ud835\udc28\ud835\udc25\ud835\udc25\ud835\udc22\ud835\udc27\ud835\udc20 \ud835\udc22\ud835\udc27\ud835\udc2f\ud835\udc1a\ud835\udc2c\ud835\udc22\ud835\udc2f\ud835\udc1e \ud835\udc1a\ud835\udc25\ud835\udc22\ud835\udc1e\ud835\udc27 \ud835\udc2c\ud835\udc29\ud835\udc1e\ud835\udc1c\ud835\udc22\ud835\udc1e\ud835\udc2c: Once an invasive alien species has been identified and prioritized, and priority sites defined, countries will need to determine management actions.
