{"id":31359,"date":"2023-11-09T16:21:33","date_gmt":"2023-11-09T15:21:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/women4biodiversity.org\/article-8j-cbd-womens-caucus-briefer\/"},"modified":"2025-02-14T08:21:12","modified_gmt":"2025-02-14T07:21:12","slug":"article-8j-cbd-womens-caucus-briefer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/women4biodiversity.org\/fr\/article-8j-cbd-womens-caucus-briefer\/","title":{"rendered":"12th meeting of the Ad Hoc Open-ended Intersessional WG on Article 8(j): CBD Women&rsquo;s Caucus Briefer"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p>During the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbd.int\/conferences\/geneva-2023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Twelfth meeting of the Ad Hoc Open-ended Intersessional Working Group on Article 8(j) and Related Provisions of the Convention on Biological Diversity and First meeting of the Ad Hoc Open-ended Working Group on Benefit-sharing from the Use of Digital Sequence Information on Genetic Resources<\/a>, CBD Women&rsquo;s Caucus will present a discussion paper titled &lsquo;<strong>Views for the 12th meeting of the Working Group on Article 8(j) and related provisions<\/strong>&lsquo;.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The discussion paper talks about the specialised knowledge of women, including ritual and sacred knowledge, as well as their practices and innovations linked to land, water, seeds and resource tenure since women are crucial ecological and cultural agents.
