WHAT<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This side event aims to introduce the methodology developed by the Parties to the CBD with support from UNEP-WCMC and Women4Biodiveristy on the indicator of the national implementation of the Gender Plan of Action (which currently sits as a component indicator to Target 23 in the Monitoring Framework). It shall provide an overview of the process towards its co-development (including the peer-review process) and highlight its relevance and importance to help measure the progress towards achieving Target 23 and use of the Gender Plan of Action in their respective contexts.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The target audience is the Parties to the CBD via their designated Gender and National Focal Points. The event also welcomes participation from representatives from major groups and observers with expertise in gender equality and indicators.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
