A 1-hour webinar to celebrate International Women’s Day 2025 with a panel of diverse speakers. This webinar is aimed to celebrate and reflect on three decades of progress since the adoption of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action in 1995. Simultaneously, the webinar will talk about the upcoming 69th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69), which will take place at United Nations Headquarters in New York from 10 to 21 March 2025, presenting a timely opportunity to revisit these goals with a sharper focus on gender equality within environmental contexts. Overall, this webinar will focus on the intersections of gender, environmental justice, and sustainable development while celebrating women’s and girls’ leadership.
