Sixth meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Implementation (SBI-6)

The Sixth Subsidiary Body on Implementation (SBI-6) will bring together governments, the private sector, and civil society to Rome, Italy, to work towards achieving the Global Biodiversity Goals. At this meeting, participants will discuss the achievements made thus far and share the best practices of the various participant groups to improve the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KM-GBF).

Women4Biodiversity will also participate in this meeting to underscore the importance of female leadership and women’s contributions to biodiversity conservation. By participating in discussions, listening, and advocating for gender-responsive approaches in developing policies and actions for equitable biodiversity governance.
