This new poster provides a simple guide to setting up your own on-farm tree nursery, inspired by the incredible work of women in Kamatira in West Pokot, Kenya. Pokot women have established on-farm tree nurseries with the support and guidance from PACEP – Pastoral Communities Empowerment Programme, Women4Biodiversity’s restoration site partner in Kenya, to restore the Kamatira forest and generate additional income.
This poster, created by Deepika Nandan of Women4Biodiversity, highlights the contributions of women in Kamatira in forest restoration. It has been created for use at the West Pokot community level.
