Welcome to Chomes! Where cultural and biological diversity go hand in hand! Today on the International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystem, we would like to share a story from the Chomes Marine Territory on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, showcasing the importance of mangrove ecosystems to women who gather mollusks, supporting their families and community.
