Policy Recommendations for the Second Resumed Session of the Sixteenth Meeting of the Conference of the Parties of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP16)

This policy recommendations from Women4Biodiversity is for the resumed session of CBD COP16 that will take place from 25-27 February, 2025 in Rome, Italy. In particular, this document will provide take a deeper look and provides concrete recommendations for ‘Mechanisms for planning, monitoring, reporting and review, including the global review of collective progress in the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework to be conducted at the seventeenth and nineteenth meetings of the Conference of the Parties’, ‘Resource Mobilisation’, ‘Financial Mechanism’, and ‘Cooperation with other conventions and international organisations’.
